200,000 Android devices activated daily

The first Android powered phone which is known as the HTC Dream, also known as the T-Mobile G1 was launched by Google in 2008. 2 years are passed, and now Google Android OS is known as the one of the most successful and famous operating system. When Motorola and Verizon announced the Motorola Droid X, then Google’s Andy Rubin said that more than 160,000 Android devices are being activated per day, and now Google CEO, Eric Schmidt told reporters that 200,000 Android devices are activated every day.

Nexus One nearing it’s end, buy it soon if you want one

The Google Nexus One might be nearing its end as HTC sent the last batch of the phones to Google. The company has no plans to acquire fresh shipments and will no longer sell the phone online. Google will still provide customer support to current customers.

Android 2.0.1 SDK released, updates as much as the version suggests

The Andoid dev team has released the SDK for the version 2.0.1 of the Google mobile OS. Just as the naming suggests Android 2.0.1 is a pretty minor update to the 2.0 including several bugfixes and behavior changes.
