The Nokia X6 8GB which was expected to hit India this week has been launched by the company at a price of Rs.14499

Nokia announced the X6 8GB at Singapore last month. We were there and could not spot any visible difference between this model and the other X6 models. The only difference is the inbuilt memory which is 8GB.Now the phone might be available in India this week.
Nokia X6 16GB Unboxing
We unbox the Nokia X6 16GB version which comes with unlimited music. The X6 is the first phone from Nokia to use a capacitive touchscreen and it does a make a lot of difference even to the date Symbian S60 5th Edition.

Nokia launched the X6 at Nokia World last year and it was the first nokia phone to sport a capacitive touchscreen ! While the original X6 packed 32GB of inbuilt memory , the company released the X6 16 GB few months ago and now at Nokia Connection 2010 in Singapore the X6-00 ( X6 8GB version) was launched in order to bring take the x6 to a lower price point ! Here are some pics of the X6 8GB. Its looks identical and feels exactly similar to the X6. The only difference is the difference in the internal memory !
First look at the Cseries with leaked Symbian-running Nokia C5
Symbian is going to push out S40 out of all but the most basic phones – the newly leaked Nokia C5 is good evidence of that. With a modest price tag this handset would steer many buyers in Symbian direction.
The Nokia C5 is also the first phone of the Cseries we’ve seen yet – remember back in July last year when Nokia trademarked Xseries and Cseries? With the Nokia X3 and the Nokia X6 we saw the Xseries – the successors of the XpressMusic lineup – and now it’s clear that the Cseries takes over where the “classic” phones left off.
Nokia X6
The Nokia X6 is a S60 5th Edition device with a responsive capacitive touch screen and tactile feedback. The device has a 3.2“, bright nHD (640 x 360 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio) display with homescreen featuring Contacts Bar and media bar. Other features include a 5 megapixel Auto Focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, integrated A-GPS with Ovi Maps 3.0, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, and USB 2.0 High-Speed.
The Nokia X6 poll results are in: its capacitive touchscreen wins the day
Nokia Conversations recently had a poll asking readers for their favorite Nokia X6 feature. The winning feature by far was the 3.2” capacitive touchscreen – Nokia’s first. One in three voted “capacitive” but how the rest of the votes are spread out is pretty interesting too.
