Vodafone To Offer 3G Services By Year-End

Economic Times recently reported that Vodafone Essar Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Vodafone Group Plc will launch 3G services in India by the year-end. Vodafone has already acquired 3G spectrum in nine circles which includes Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai & Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra & Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (East) and West Bengal for Rs 11,617 crore.

While the email states that they are going to start taking orders , its not clear when the phone will land in user hands !
